ABSTRACT

Investigación destinada a describir y caracterizar las particularidades de las interconsultas solicitadas al Área de Psicopedagogía de la Unidad de Salud Mental del Hospital de Niños Ricardo Gutiérrez durante el año inmediatamente anterior y en el primer año de la pandemia por Covid 19 en la Argentina a partir de un análisis de los registros del equipo. Otros objetivos son: Describir socioepidemiológicamente a los pacientes por los cuales se interconsultó al Área de Psicopedagogía desde marzo de 2019 a marzo de 2021; caracterizar las particularidades de las interconsultas; y comparar las particularidades de las interconsultas antes y durante el ASPO por la pandemia de COVID 19.

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT Objective: To identify the most effective form of contact, as a possible intervention to reduce absenteeism in consultations of children with suspected or confirmed pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods: A randomized clinical trial was conducted with prospective data collection, between March 2017 and February 2018. Patients were randomized into three groups to be reminded about the appointment: telephone contact, SMS or WhatsApp, or no intervention. A convenience sample was obtained, with a significance level of 5%. Results: 78 children were included, with a median age of four years old (zero to 14); 59.0% of them were in treatment for a latent infection and 6.4% had active tuberculosis. Among the 78 children, 74.4% lived in Curitiba (Sourhern Brazil); 62.8% lived with both parents; 38.5% of the parents had formal employment and 47.4% of the mothers were housewives; 50.8% of the fathers and 55.7% of the mothers had more than nine years of schooling. In 78.2% of the families, per capita income was up to 0.5 minimum wages; 27.3% were enrolled in social programs; 28.2% lived in homes provided by the government. There was a total of 238 interventions made: 85 (35.7%) by telephone contact, 78 (32.8%) by text message (WhatsApp was 97.2% of these) and 75 (31.5%) had no further contact. There was no statistical difference among the sociodemographic and cultural characteristics studied. The absenteeism rate was 24.0% and the abandonment rate was 16.7%. Giving a reminder to the patient's guardian prior to the consultation, regardless of the intervention (p=0.021) and specifically by WhatsApp message (p=0.032) was associated with no absenteeism, though it was not associated with abandonment of the treatment. Conclusions: Using new tools, such as WhatsApp, to remind guardians of appointments reduces absenteeism. Consequently, it may lead to a reduction in abandoning treatment and it may improvetreatment outcome of children with a tuberculosis infection or disease.


RESUMO Objetivo: Identificar a forma mais efetiva de contato, como possibilidade de intervenção, para diminuir o absenteísmo em consultas de crianças com suspeita ou com tuberculose pulmonar. Métodos: Ensaio clínico randomizado com coleta de dados prospectiva, entre março de 2017 e fevereiro de 2018. Os pacientes foram aleatorizados em três grupos para relembrar a consulta: contato telefônico; mensagens curtas (SMS) ou WhatsApp; e nenhuma intervenção. Amostra de conveniência, com nível de significância de 5%. Resultados: Incluídas 78 crianças, mediana de idade quatro anos (zero a 14); 59,0% em tratamento para infecção latente e 6,4% com tuberculose ativa; 74,4% moravam em Curitiba, Paraná; 62,8% residiam com ambos os pais; 38,5% dos pais possuíam emprego formal e 47,4% das mães eram do lar; 50,8% dos pais e 55,7% das mães possuíam mais de nove anos de estudo; em 78,2% das famílias a renda per capita foi de até 0,5 salário mínimo; 27,3% estavam inscritas em programas sociais; e 28,2% residiam em casa cedida. Foram 238 intervenções: 85 (35,7%) por contato telefônico, 78 (32,8%) por mensagem de texto (WhatsApp 97,2%) e 75 (31,5%) sem nenhum contato adicional. Nas características sociodemográficas e culturais estudadas não houve diferença estatística. O absenteísmo foi de 24,0% e o abandono, de 16,7%. Lembrar o responsável previamente à consulta, independente da intervenção (p=0,021) e especificamente por mensagem por WhatsApp (p=0,032) foi associado ao não absenteísmo, porém não associado ao abandono. Conclusões: O uso de novas ferramentas, como o aplicativo WhatsApp, pode reduzir o absenteísmo, diminuir a possibilidade de abandono no seguimento e melhorar o desfecho do tratamento de crianças com tuberculose, seja a infecção ou a doença.

Trabajo de investigación en el marco del Sistema de Residencias y Concurrencias del Ministerio de Salud de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, realizado por residentes de tercer año con sede en el Centro de Salud Comunitaria Nº 10. Se analizan los criterios que sostienen las psicopedagogas de segundo y tercer año de la residencia de Psicopedagogía, jefas e instructoras de la misma y psicopedagogas de planta que se desempeñan en las diferentes sedes de la residencia durante marzo de 2018 a junio de 2019, para indicar exclusivamente atención psicológica a niños de escolaridad primaria que se encuentran en diagnóstico psicopedagógico, los criterios para indicar exclusivamente el inicio de tratamiento psicopedagógico y los que sostienen las profesionales para proponer la atención en ambas disciplinas.

O presente artigo interroga as possíveis consequências extraídas da realização dos atendimentos psicanalíticos na modalidade on-line como consequência da pandemia da Covid-19 que nos assolou em 2020. Problematizam-se os efeitos dessa experiência a partir de três eixos: a retomada de aspectos fundamentais da técnica psicanalítica, o conceito de transferência e a presença do analista bem como os significantes recolhidos de pares psicanalistas por meio de um questionário que lhes interrogou a prática dos atendimentos on-line


Le présent article questionne les conséquences possibles, observées lors de la réalisation des consultations psychanalytiques en ligne, à la suite de la pandémie de Covide-19 qui nous a ravagés en 2020. Les effets de cette expérience sont interrogés à partir de trois axes: la reprise des aspects fondamentaux de la technique psychanalytique, le concept de transfert et la présence de l'analyste, ainsi que les signifiants recueillis auprès de pairs de psychanalystes à travers un questionnaire qui les interroge la pratique des suivis en ligne


This article questions the possible consequences, observed during the realization of online psychoanalytic consultations, following the Covide-19 pandemic which devastated us in 2020. The effects of this experience are examined from three axes: the resumption of fundamental aspects of psychoanalytic technique, the concept of transference and the presence of the analyst, as well as the signifiers collected from peers of psychoanalysts through a questionnaire which questions them on the practice of on-line care

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT Objective: to describe our experience with a methodology for teaching nursing consultation in support of people with diabetes mellitus at a Family Health Unit. Method: experience report with four moments—submission of the proposal to the team; theorizing; nursing care for people with diabetes mellitus at home and at the health unit, and evaluation of learning. Results: the pedagogical process favored the integration between service and users, contributed to implement and apply the nursing process and strengthened professional training, based on the epidemiological profile of chronic diseases and its implications for nursing in primary care. Final considerations: the active methodology discussed here allowed for a resignification of knowledge and a qualification of nursing care, demonstrating to be an important instrument for integrating clinical practice and epidemiology in accordance to experienced reality.


RESUMEN Objetivo: Describir la experiencia con la metodología de la problematización para la enseñanza de la consulta de enfermería a las personas con diabetes mellitus en una Unidad de Salud de la Familia. Método: Relato de experiencia realizado en cuatro momentos -presentar la propuesta al equipo; teorizar; dar asistencia de enfermería a las personas con diabetes mellitus en los domicilios y en la unidad de salud; y evaluar el aprendizaje. Resultados: El proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje favoreció la integración entre servicio y usuarios, contribuyó a implantar y aplicar el proceso de enfermería, y fortaleció la formación a partir del reconocimiento del perfil epidemiológico para el cuidado de enfermería a las enfermedades crónicas en la atención primaria. Consideraciones finales: La metodología activa propició la resignificación del conocimiento y la cualificación del cuidado de enfermería, constituyéndose como importante instrumento para unir la clínica a la epidemiología a partir de la realidad experimentada.


RESUMO Objetivo: Descrever a experiência da utilização de metodologia da problematização para o ensino da Consulta de Enfermagem junto a pessoas com Diabetes Mellitus de uma Unidade de Saúde da Família. Método: Relato de experiência realizado em quatro momentos: apresentação da proposta à equipe, teorização, aplicação da sistematização da assistência de enfermagem às pessoas com diabetes mellitus no domicilio dos usuários e na Unidade de Saúde e avaliação da aprendizagem. Resultados: O processo ensino-aprendizagem favoreceu a integração do ensino com o serviço e usuários, contribuiu para a implantação e aplicação do processo de enfermagem e fortaleceu a formação a partir do reconhecimento do perfil epidemiológico para o cuidado de enfermagem às doenças crônicas na atenção primária. Considerações finais: A utilização da metodologia ativa propiciou a ressignificação do conhecimento e a qualificação do cuidado de enfermagem, constituindo-se como um importante instrumento para a união da clínica à epidemiologia a partir da realidade vivenciada.

ABSTRACT Objective: To report the development of a nursing consultation software for hypertensive users of the Family Health Strategy. Method: Applied methodological research based on Roger Pressman's Software Engineering, developed in three cycles: planning, composed of the definition of the database prototyping and modelling; development of the navigation interface; and development of functional expressions and programming. Result: The software consists of administrative and nursing consultation screens. In the history, there is the option of undertaking the first and next consultation; nursing diagnoses are suggested by the system after entering information and can be selected by nurses. Interventions for diagnoses are suggested and can be chosen by nurses after structuring the medical plan. Conclusion: It is believed that the introduction of computer technology for nursing consultation brings several contributions, such as standardization, integration with different information systems, and continuous update.


RESUMEN Objetivo: Informar sobre el desarrollo de un software para consulta de enfermería de los hipertensos en la Estrategia Salud de la Familia. Método: Investigación metodológica aplicada, basada en ingeniería de software de Pressman, desarrollada en tres ciclos: planeamiento, integrada por definición del prototipo y diseño del banco de datos; desarrollo de interfaz de navegación; y elaboración de expresiones funcionales y de programación. Resultado: el software posee pantallas administrativas y de consulta de enfermería. El historial permite realizar la primera consulta y/o las subsiguientes; el sistema sugiere los diagnósticos de enfermería una vez cargada la información, también el enfermero puede seleccionarlos. Las intervenciones para diagnósticos son sugeridas y pueden ser elegidas por los enfermeros, estructurándose el plan de atención. Conclusión: Se confía en que contar con un recurso informático para la consulta de enfermería brinde numerosas contribuciones: estandarización, integración con diferentes sistemas de información, y actualización permanente.


RESUMO Objetivo: Relatar o desenvolvimento de um software para consulta de enfermagem aos hipertensos na estratégia saúde da família. Método: Pesquisa metodológica aplicada, baseada na engenharia de software de Pressman, desenvolvida em três ciclos: planejamento, composto pela definição da prototipação e modelagem do banco de dados; desenvolvimento da interface de navegação; e elaboração das expressões funcionais e da programação. Resultado: o software consiste em telas administrativas e telas para a consulta de enfermagem. No histórico, há a opção de realizar a primeira consulta e ou consulta subsequente; os diagnósticos de enfermagem são sugeridos pelo sistema, depois de serem inseridas as informações, e podem ser selecionados pelo enfermeiro. As intervenções para os diagnósticos são sugeridas e podem ser escolhidas pelos enfermeiros estruturando-se o plano assistencial. Conclusão: Acredita-se que a inserção de uma tecnologia computacional à consulta de enfermagem traz inúmeras contribuições: padronização, integração com diferentes sistemas de informação e atualização permanente.

ABSTRACT Objective: To critically reflect on the conceptual components of the Tidal Model in the application of the mental healthcare process. Method: Critical analysis based on the Models of Theory Analysis, focused on the clarity and consistency of the theoretical components of the Tidal Model. Results: The clarity of the theory was verified through the demonstration of the following components: functional, presuppositions, concepts and propositions. The consistency is due to the possibility of proven application in several countries with different populations. Conclusion: There is a vast field of research and possibilities of application in the Brazilian nursing consultation, in search of usefulness and support in nursing care.


RESUMEN Objetivo: reflexionar críticamente acerca de los componentes conceptuales de la Teoría de la Marea en aplicación del proceso de cuidados en salud mental. Método: análisis crítico fundamentado en el Modelo de Evaluación de Teorías, enfocado en la claridad y consistencia de los componentes teóricos de la Teoría de la Marea. Resultados: se constató la claridad de la teoría por medio de la demostración de componentes funcionales, presupuestos, conceptos y proposiciones. La consistencia ocurre por la posibilidad de aplicación comprobada en diversos países con diferentes poblaciones. Conclusión: hay un amplio campo de posibilidades de investigación y aplicación en la consulta de enfermería brasileña, en búsqueda de utilidad y respaldo en el cuidado de enfermería.


RESUMO Objetivo: refletir criticamente acerca dos componentes conceituais da Teoria da Maré na aplicação do processo de cuidar em saúde mental. Método: análise crítica fundamentada no Modelo de Avaliação de Teorias, focada na clareza e consistência dos componentes teóricos da Teoria da Maré. Resultados: constatou-se a clareza da teoria por meio da demonstração dos componentes funcionais, pressupostos, conceitos e proposições. A consistência ocorre pela possibilidade de aplicação comprovada em diversos países com diferentes populações. Conclusão: há um vasto campo de possibilidades de pesquisa e aplicação na consulta de enfermagem brasileira, em busca de utilidade e respaldo no cuidado de enfermagem.

ABSTRACT

Because of insufficient communication between primary health care providers and specialists, which leads to inefficiencies and ineffectiveness in rural population health outcomes, to implement a well-functioning referral system is one of the most important tasks for some countries. Using purposive and snowballing sampling methods, we included health experts, policy-makers, family physicians, clinical specialists, and experts from health insurance organizations in this study according to pre-determined criteria. We recorded all interviews, transcribed and analyzed their content using qualitative methods. We extracted 1,522 individual codes initially. We also collected supplementary data through document review. From reviews and summarizations, four main themes, ten subthemes, and 24 issues emerged from the data. The solutions developed were: care system reform, education system reform, payment system reform, and improves in culture-building and public education. Given the executive experience, the full familiarity, the occupational and geographical diversity of participants, the solutions proposed in this study could positively affect the implementation and improvement of the referral system in Iran. The suggested solutions are complementary to each other and have less interchangeability.


Devido à comunicação insuficiente entre os profissionais de saúde na atenção primária e os especialistas, levando a ineficiências e ineficácias nos desfechos de saúde na população rural, a implementação de um sistema funcional de referência e contra-referência é uma das tarefas mais importantes para alguns países. Com o uso de métodos propositais e de "bola de neve", o estudo incluiu especialistas em saúde pública, gestores, especialistas clínicos e representantes de planos de saúde, de acordo com critérios predeterminados. Gravamos e transcrevemos todas as entrevistas, e depois analisamos o conteúdo através de métodos qualitativos. Inicialmente extraímos 1.522 códigos individuais. Também coletamos dados complementares através da revisão de documentos. A partir das revisões e resumos, emergiram dados sobre quatro temas principais, dez subtemas e 24 questões. Foram desenvolvidas as seguintes soluções: reforma do sistema de atenção, reforma do sistema de ensino, reforma do sistema de remuneração e melhorias na construção de cultura e no ensino público. Em função da experiência executiva, a familiaridade plena e a diversidade ocupacional e geográfica dos participantes, as soluções propostas pelo estudo poderiam impactar positivamente a implementação e melhoria do sistema de encaminhamento de pacientes no Irã. As soluções propostas se complementam e são menos intercambiáveis.


Debido a la insuficiente comunicación entre los responsables de la atención primaria y los especialistas, se producen ineficiencias y falta de eficacia en las condiciones de salud de la población rural iraní. Por ello, implementar un buen sistema de derivación sanitario es una de las tareas más importantes para algunos países. Usando un método de muestreo intencional y de bola de nieve, incluimos a expertos en salud, formuladores de políticas, médicos de familia, especialistas clínicos, y expertos del ámbito de las empresas de seguros de salud en este estudio, de acuerdo con criterios predeterminados. Grabamos todas las entrevistas, transcribimos y analizamos su contenido usando métodos cualitativos. En un principio se seleccionaron 1.522 códigos individuales. También obtuvimos datos complementarios a través de la revisión de documentación. Fruto de las revisiones y puestas en común, se obtuvieron 4 temas principales, 10 subtemas y 24 cuestiones que afloraron de estos datos. Las soluciones desarrolladas fueron: reforma del sistema de atención, reforma del sistema educativo, reforma del sistema de pago, y mejoras en la educación cultural y pública. Dada la experiencia ejecutiva, la gran sinceridad en las respuestas, la diversidad ocupacional y geográfica de los participantes, las soluciones propuestas en este estudio pueden afectar positivamente la implementación y mejora del sistema de derivación sanitario en Irán. Las soluciones sugeridas son complementarias entre ellas, aunque poseen una menor intercambiabilidad entre sí.

ABSTRACT Objective: to identify the profile of the counter-referred patients by the "nurse liaison" and to describe the experience of the professionals who participated in the project. Method: intervention research, with twelve nursing nurses from a hospital and an Emergency Care Unit, and 26 nurses from Primary Health Care. Data were obtained through questionnaires and counter-referral forms. Results: Out of 43 counter-referred individuals, 62.8% are over sixty years, 53.5% are men with multi-pathologies. Among the positive aspects, the nurses highlighted the dialogue between health care services, agility in the acquisition of inputs for the continuity of care in primary care, benefiting patients after hospital discharge. The greatest challenge was the lack of time and the deficit of nurses to perform the function. Final considerations: the presence of the "nurse liaison" has proved to be an important strategy to improve integration between services and to promote continuity of care.


RESUMEN Objetivo: identificar el perfil de los usuarios contrarreferenciados por la "enfermera de conexión" y describir la experiencia de las profesionales que participaron del proyecto. Método: investigación de intervención, con doce enfermeras asistenciales de un hospital y de una Unidad de Pronta Atención, y 26 enfermeras da Atención Primaria a la Salud. Los datos fueron obtenidos por cuestionarios y formularios de contrarreferencia. Resultados: de 43 individuos contrarreferenciados, el 62,8% poseen más de sesenta años, el 53,5% son hombres portadores de pluripatologías. De entre los aspectos positivos, las enfermeras subrayaron el diálogo entre los puntos de atención, la agilidad en la adquisición de insumos para la continuidad de los cuidados en la atención primaria, beneficiando a los usuarios después del alta hospitalaria. El reto más grande fue la carencia de tiempo y el déficit de enfermeras para realizar la función. Consideraciones finales: La "enfermera de conexión" se mostró una importante estrategia para mejorar la integración entre los servicios y promocionar la continuidad del cuidado.

Psychiatric diseases have a high presence in Chilean population. Most of the cases are treated in the primary care. Despite this, and because of their complexity, some cases need specialist care. Is important the appropriate referral to secondary care which can be measured by the diagnostic concordance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the diagnostic concordance between primary care and the evaluation of Psychiatrists in secondary level at Communitary Mental Health Center (COSAM) in Talca. METHODOLOGY: Cross-sectional descriptive study. All medical files of the patients older than 15 years old treated at COSAM were examined from August 2012 to November 2013. Moreover, the diagnostics of both primary care derivation and Psychiatrists of COSAM were compared with Kappa Index. RESULTS: The general concordance between the diagnostics of primary care level and COSAM was moderated (kappa index: 0.54). Higher in men than in women. The results showed a high concordance in the diagnostic of eating disorders and Dementia, a moderated concordance in the diagnostic of Bipolar Disorder and Panic Disorder. Finally, a low concordance in the diagnostic of General Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Personality Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder.Although the concordance in the derivations to COSAM is moderated, higher than international studies, the concern is in the failure in the diagnostic of the Bipolar Disorder, an inappropriate treatment can be prescribed if there is not a correct diagnostic.

ABSTRACT

Background: Emergency contraception refers to contraceptive methods that can be used after a sexual intercourse Aim: To analyze the evolution of emergency contraception (EC) consultations on the Chilean public health system, at a communal level, in relation to the legal changes that recently took place, aimed to ease the delivery of the benefit. To analyze its association with socioeconomic, demographic and municipal healthcare system characteristics. Material and Methods: We analyzed data bases of the Ministry of Health to study EC consultation rates on Chilean communes, including consultations on emergency departments and by rape, from 2008 to 2013. We evaluated the association with communal characteristics, obtained from the National Municipal Information System. Results: Both the communal consultation rates and percentage of communes with consultations increased progressively during the period, with an explosive increase between 2009 and 2010. We observed a high dispersion in EC consultations both at a communal and regional level. There was an inverse significant association of the number of consultations with the communal poverty rate. Conclusions: Our results reveal the impact of legal modifications implemented in Chile since 2009 on the communal EC consultation rates. On other hand, our results reveal that although these modifications were oriented to favor the delivery of this benefit, a high dispersion subsists, associated with population’s socioeconomic factors, mainly, the communal poverty level.

En México, la consultoría de enfermería, como es conocida al día de hoy, se realiza por profesionales de la disciplina, dando inicio en 1997. En ese momento se llevó a efecto, principalmente, en el primer nivel de atención y uno de los lugares específicos fue el Centro de Investigación Materno Infantil del Grupo de Estudios al Nacimiento (CIMI-Gen) de la Ciudad de México; así mismo, se estructuraron diferentes Programas Integrados de Salud como fue (PREVENIMSS) del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS), donde se inició el desarrollo de acciones de carácter preventivo y de rehabilitación cuyo objetivo fundamental es mejorar la salud mediante la atención en la consulta externa; sin embargo, estas acciones fueron desarrollándose posteriormente en el Segundo Nivel de Atención, siendo al día de hoy aplicadas en el Hospital General de México

ABSTRACT

Objetivou-se identificar a concepção de enfermeiras sobre o acolhimento e vínculo na consulta ginecológica em uma unidade de atenção secundária, de uma instituição de prevenção de câncer, localizada em Fortaleza-Ceará-Brasil. Estudo descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa, realizado com seis enfermeiras, através de entrevista semi-estruturada, de setembro a outubro de 2007. Utilizou--se a análise de conteúdo para organização e interpretação dos dados. As enfermeiras expressaram que o acolhimento acontece no desenvolvimento de uma escuta atenta às queixas da paciente. Mencionaram a condição financeira e social das usuárias como empecilhos para o acesso ao serviço de saúde. Concluiu-se que o serviço de atenção secundária realiza o acolhimento de forma restrita e não promove a produção e manutenção do vínculo.

ABSTRACT

Background: The general objective of this review was to determine the reasons for referral abroad of surgical patients at Addis Ababa University Medical Faculty; Tikur Anbassa Hospital Methods: The referral slips of patients who were referred abroad from September 2005 - August 2009 by surgical Department were collected and reviewed. Results: The study reviewed a total of 331 patents in the 5 year period mentioned. An average of 66 patients was referred per year. There was an over all male preponderance 183(55.3); majority of patients were in the age group 26 - 50 years (173).Most were residents from the Capital; 232 (70). Neoplastic diseases both benign and malignant account for 155 cases. Primary brain tumors either malignant or benign account for 74 cases. 97 of the cases had at least one surgical intervention done prior to referral. The overall trend is showing some decrement. The main reason for referral was for better surgical intervention (249). Referral for MRI which accounted for 16 of the referrals in the first 2 years was virtually non existent in the next 3 years. Conclusion: Most cases were form the capital; Neurosurgical cases have been referred more than any other subspecialties; neoplastic changes constitute the main reason for referral; and the overall trend seems decreasing along the course

ABSTRACT

This article describes the Collective Prenatal Consultation as a new healthcare methodology, which is performed according to government standards, but collectively. Relaxation and sensitization techniques are used, as well as group dynamics, including a collective exam of the pregnant women. The Collective Consultation is carried out in a welcoming environment, which provides clarification and socialization of experiences and information, centered on those women. The healthcare professional records every obstetric parameter and behavior in the patient's prenatal card and history file. Priority is given to the principle of integrality and citizenship, with the aim to break the biomedical care paradigm, thus favoring humanized and comprehensive care to the women.


Consiste en la descripción de la Consulta Pre-Natal Colectiva como una nueva metodología asistencial, la cual es realizada siguiendo los estándares gubernamentales, no obstante de forma colectiva. Se utilizan técnicas de relajación, sensibilización y dinámicas de grupo, incluyendo el examen colectivo de las gestantes en un lugar acogedor, informativo y socializador de experiencias e informaciones, en el cual la gestante es protagonista. En la Consulta Colectiva el profesional registra todos los parámetros y conductas obstétricas en el carnet e historia peri-natal, priorizando los principios de atención integral y ciudadanía, buscando romper con el paradigma asistencial-biomédico y favoreciendo para una atención humanizada e integral de la mujer.


Este estudo consiste na descrição da Consulta Coletiva de Pré-Natal como nova metodologia assistencial, a qual é realizada seguindo os padrões governamentais, porém, coletivamente. Utilizou-se técnicas de relaxamento e de sensibilização e dinâmicas de grupo, incluindo o exame coletivo das gestantes em um espaço acolhedor, esclarecedor e socializador de experiências e informações, em que a gestante é protagonista. Na Consulta Coletiva, o profissional registra todos os parâmetros e condutas obstétricos no cartão e prontuário perinatal e prioriza o princípio da integralidade e cidadania, buscando romper com o paradigma assistencial-biomédico, favorecendo assistência humanizada e integral à mulher.

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to document the demographics and trends in referral patterns for coronary angiography in the setting of a tertiary care hospital in Pakistan. The study followed a convenient non-probability sampling design. A non-standardized questionnaire was administered and data analyzed. An exponential increase was noted in coronary angiography procedures from 2000 to 2006. We interviewed a total of 250 patients out of which 71.4% were males falling in the age group 50-59 years. Only a 3rd [30.8%] of patients were referred from their internist, however more than a 3rd [37.7%] came directly to the cardiologist. 47.7% of patients were from Punjab and 31.4% were from Federal capital. Half of the well-educated patients [50.0%] were well aware of the purpose and side effects of coronary angiography in contrast to only 4.8% of the un educated patients. But more than a 3rd of well-educated patients [40.4%] were not well aware or were unaware [17%] of the exact method for the procedure and its possible side effects despite signing and informed consent. Diagnostic coronary angiography is rapidly increasing in most tertiary care hospitals in Pakistan and in more than one third of the patients, direct self-referral was the predominant means of referral. In addition, the level of awareness about the purpose and side effect profile of the procedure was directly proportional to the level of education.

El presente estudio se realizó en el Hospital de Niños Baca Ortíz de Quito, y tuvo como objetivo identificar las característica de la Atención en Consulta Externa del Hospital y analizar su oprganización para determinar como inciden dichas características sobre la calidad de atención y sobre la satisfacción de los pacientes.El estudio se realizó durante seis meses y fue descriptivo, analítico y transversal dirigido por una parte a la población de usuarios del Hospital (niños 0 a 13 años 11 meses, y sus familiares), y por otra, al personal que trabaja en la Consulta Externa. Los instrumentos utilizados incluyeron una Encuesta a usuarios externos, apicada a una muestra de 270 usuarios distribuidos en las seis especialidades de mayor demanda en Consulta Externa, una Lista de Chequeo para evaluar el desempeño y actitud del personal
